We are situated on the B4353 between Borth and Tre'r Ddol. From Borth we are 2 miles heading north along the straight road that divides the golf course. Follow the road to the right once in Ynyslas and up over the brow of the hill. To the right you will catch a glimpse of the rainbow peace flag and then the long tall garden walls. We are four miles or so from Tre'r Ddol (A487), about a quarter of a mile past the railway and river crossing. This time we'll be on the left, unless you're going backwards (which is unadvisable).
The Gardens
Ynyslas Gardens have been worked by many people over the years. The gardens were originally constructed in the 1870s to supply produce to the local railway workers and the railway hotel in Borth.
The largest growing area is currently worked by Joel, supplying produce to a local box scheme and to C.A.T. in Machynlleth.
Get Growing
Leigh Munton and Kate Doubleday are currently running this year's Get Growing course at Ynyslas Gardens every other Tuesday. See below for more information.
